Design Studies is a course at the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand. The basic course is a three year degree and is a lot of fun. Every year it increases the number of papers available and there is now the possibility of post graduate study. It is always important to remember that Design Studies is not a Design School and never gets really focussed on one area. By the third year though students often tend towards specialisation of some sort as one of the final papers allows students to look at something of personal interest.
